Art of the Week

I really haven't been keeping up on this, but I saw an artist in Elle Decor that I really liked and I thought I'd share it with you:

Spot
Seated Spot
 Supine Spot
 Throb
 Stud
 Soft Partition (detail- acrylic on fabric)

The artist is Catherine McClelland from Brooklyn. Her specialty is using words in her art and, as she puts it, "I wanted to marry masculine ways of painting with feminisht messages." Very cool stuff! I especially like the first and the last pieces. See more here.
