April 12 Emma laying on my mom's papers in the sun
April 13 More of Emma (as you can see, I don't have that many subjects for photos these days)
April 14 Emma (she always finds some surface to hang off of)
April 15 Me in my new chair (we went to Ikea on Wednesday and I didn't put it together until Thursday because I was a little nervous that something would be wrong with it, but all went well!)

April 18 Farmer's Market
My mom went to LA this weekend to take the Landmark Advanced Course. (If you've never heard of Landmark check it out here.) So I've been alone with Emma since Friday and I won't even go into what a pain in the ass that cat is, but I love her and her cute, tiny little face so I put up with her shit.
Anyway, Friday I watch Pride & Prejudice and just about died of delight at how much I loved it!! I've now made it my life's mission to watch it a million times lol (along with reading the book a million times, of course! hehe). I had some wine...and some beer, and stayed up watching Troy because it's been on TV lately and I felt like it. Yesterday, as my previous post shows, I got in a really creative mood and started copying this black and white drawing of a wolf. Didn't do much writing, but I'm just proud I've reached 10,000 words and I've finished rewriting what I already had (of course, now I'm back to writing from scratch again, so I have to give myself some time to get my mind back in that state).
Friday I saw that they were setting up for some kind of soccer tournament at the park down the street from where I live so I walked over there on my way to the Farmer's Market today. (I saw that they had a Dippin Dots booth and just had to get some on my way back home. Yummiest thing ever! I always have to have some whenever I go to Magic Mountain. It's become a tradition of mine.) There were girls everywhere between the ages of 10-14 in soccer uniforms and it made me nestalgic for when I played soccer. Only sport I've ever played. Could be good at in now, but back then I was so small it made me afraid of all the other girls so I stopped playing. *sigh* I have to say, I was quite the wimp when I was younger...and those who know me well would say that, physically at least, not much has changed there lol.
So yeah, I went to the Farmer's Market at the Channel Islands Harbor; again with the nestalgia. I grew up on Hollywood Beach, which is right across the street from Channel Islands Harbor and there are these condos that we used to live in that had views of the harbor. Every Sunday morning we could see the Farmer's Market from our windows; not to mention, we could just walk across the street to get there. Today I walked a good 20 minutes to get there and I walked back with all my bags. (I thought on my way back my bike might have been a better idea, but hell, my arms need the workout!) I do wish my mom could have come with me. It would have been more fun with her. We'll just have to go next weekend :)
Here are some more photos of the Farmer's Market:

So, which Pride and Prejudice did you watch?
The movie with Keira Knightly, not the miniseries. Have you seen it?
Farmer's Markets are the best, glad you had a nice time and your food looks delicious! BTW I like your DIY project below, love the turquoise and very clever!
