Freestanding Bathtubs

Someday I'm going to build and design my own dream house and when I do the master bathroom is most definitely going to have a freestanding bathtub. Due to my obsession with freestanding bathtubs I have collected photos from magazines and the internet of bathrooms containing them. (Not to mention, since going through all my magazines in my recent move I've collected photos for every room including some extremely awesome floor plans, which I'll be sharing with you over the course of the next few months as I have to scan all of them into my computer first! It's a big project and I'm happy I have the time to do it.) Enjoy!

It's hard to say which is my favorite, in terms of the bathroom/layout/look itself, but the Met Home from May 06 is really cool and I love the House Beautiful 02.04 bathroom, and the 5th picture down from point click home (Met Home) with the clear retro chair is an awesome bathroom as well. As far as tubs go though, my favorite is definitely the Spoon tub from Agape (which is in about 4 out these 40-something photos). Coolest tub ever!

Which is your favorite?

Beautiful!!! I love claw foot tubs, my great grandmother had one and I'm just so jealous of them.

A freestanding bathtub is definitely the way to go. They really add extra class to every bathroom. And I'm just in love with all these claw foot tubs.
