I'm not sure how many of you have seen Something's Gotta Give with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson, but my mom and I are rather obsessed with it...And when I say the movie I mean the house lol! No really, not only is the movie awesome, but the house that Diane Keaton's character has in the Hamptons is nothing short of incredible!
The movie was on tv last month and my mom shouts from her room "I want that house!" I had to agree with her. I want that house too!
So just like that, I became obsessed with getting the house that's in the movie (and the interior is just a set, by the way; although, the exterior shots you see in the movie is an actual house in the Hamptons) on CAD, which, for those of you who don't know, is also known as computer aided drafting. Needless to say I had no problem watching the movie again and really paying attention to the actual house. I worked on it for about a month on the computer (as well as my mom's and my own version of it) and now I'd like to share it with you:

This is basically what's in the movie. I have no idea what the mysterious door next to the fireplace in the living room really leads to, nor am I sure the bathrooms are right - those are just an educated guess - but that's pretty close. If anyone would like to see the plan with furniture, do let me know. I'm working on that as well.
And just for some more visual fun - and to put a face to all the rooms - here are some photos from the movie:
