Ingenious

For those of you who have been reading this blog lately, you should already be aware that I'm a Jeremy Renner fan. Ingenious is one of his films that was made back in 2009, but hasn't reached the theaters yet. It's had critical acclaim at film festivals, but it needs further funding before the rest of the world can see it.

The movie, which is based off a true story, centers around a savvy salesman, played by Jeremy, along side Dallas Roberts, who plays an inventor, and the two of them come up with a great idea that becomes a global phenomenon.

Brian Neufang with Arriba Films has started a page on kickstarter to help raise funds for the movie. So far, they've raised over $45,000 of their $48,000 goal, which they have to reach by October 13. If you pledge $25 or more, you're not only funding the film, you're pre-ordering your copy of the DVD.

I sincerely hope this movie makes it to theaters. I would love to see it! Get over to Kickstarter to learn more and make your pledge. Here's Brian with a little more about the film:

Update: As of October 4th, Arriba Films reached its $48,000 goal and that number is still climbing! The more that's pledged, the more theaters will get to view the movie!
