Halloween Items for the Home

There was a cool post today on Apartment Therapy about the $100 million Damien Hirst Skull and it's knock off from Z Gallerie for $24.95. Pretty awesome Halloween decoration, in my opinion, and one that can be cool any time of year for that matter.

And if you're really into skull-related items there's a blog called Skull-a-Day where you can find all things skull. Right now he's giving away a pair of skull cufflinks. Fun stuff.

The other day I received an email from Design Within Reach about a fundraiser for DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids) featuring the DWR trashcan. Leading artists, architects and designers have basically put costumes on these trashcans! They'll be auctioned off with all the proceeds going to DIFFA. Very creative idea. I think some of them, like the eye, are hilarious! But my favorite is the graffiti can. Find out more here.
